Arco Anomaly - String Textures Redefined

Pushing Strings Beyond the Ordinary: Arco Anomaly

Strings. They’re the backbone of cinematic music—rich, expressive, and endlessly evocative. But what happens when you push them further? When you introduce anomalies into the sound we know and love?

That’s the idea behind Arco Anomaly, the latest sample library from Triumph Audio. If you’re familiar with our Ghost series, you know we love experimenting with solo instruments. But this time, I wanted to take things further—bigger, deeper, and more unpredictable.

Arco Anomaly isn’t just another string library. It’s a toolkit for modern scoring, packed with extended articulations, hybrid textures, and sound design that blurs the line between organic and otherworldly. It’s about capturing the raw, real essence of strings—and then twisting that into something entirely new.

What’s Inside?

We recorded everything from intimate solo performances to full ensemble textures, including:

  • Solo violin, solo viola, solo cello, and double bass

  • Viola & cello duets

  • Cello & soprano voice duets

  • A full string ensemble

  • A small orchestral group with strings, trumpet, and flute

From haunting phrases to evolving drones, pulsing textures to cinematic effects, Arco Anomaly is built for tension, horror, suspense, and beyond.

More Than Just Strings

One thing I’ve always focused on is pushing sample libraries forward. I don’t want to just rehash what’s been done—I want to explore new sonic territory. Some of these sounds come from my personal collection, used in major film, TV, and game projects. Others are brand new, created specifically for this library.

Some are unruly and gnarly, others ethereal and mystical. But they all share one goal: to bring something fresh and alive into your music.

Built for Creative Control

If you’ve used our libraries before, you know we love mod wheel blending—switching between dry, organic recordings and effect-heavy, processed textures. Arco Anomaly takes that concept even further. Some patches morph between different textures, while others use modulation to shift pitch, creating dynamic and unpredictable performances.

With over 350 patches packed into just under 7GB, Arco Anomaly gives you endless choices for layering, designing, and composing.

Hear It for Yourself

Words can only do so much—this is a library you have to hear to believe. Check out this video, dive into the sounds, and let me know what you think. I hope Arco Anomaly inspires you to push your own music into uncharted sonic territory. Click here to learn more and to purchase Arco Anomaly!

Thanks for checking it out—now go make something amazing!
